This charming apartment is situated in the heart of the town of Montelupo Fiorentino, famous for its ceramics since the Renaissance.
The building was formerly part of a 15th C. convent and above the entrance there is a religious relic reminding us of its origin.
We have renovated the entire building and created a 1-bedroom apartment on the second floor, keeping the original flavor of its antiquity while introducing modern features.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi.
You enter through a long corridor and go up a wide set of stairs to arrive at the hand-wrought iron and crystal door which opens onto a small vestibule with a pantry/closet, then into the kitchen provided with all modern necessities, and open living
room/dining space with a restored antique square table, a sofa/bed that can be opened up to a full double bed and an armchair, continuing towards the bedroom there is a small laundry room with a washing machine and a wash basin and racks for hanging
and drying clothes, a small guest bathroom, then the bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, a small armoire, and a fully equipped marble-tiled bathroom with shower.
Where possible, we have used handcrafted artisans and workmanship to endow the interior with the traditional charm of the times, for example leaving the wood-beam ceilings and original brick and stone walls.
